Cursebreaker Rough Draft

What does it take to complete a rough draft? Stamina!

So far I have created a story with fifteen chapters and an ending, but there are some serious holes in the plot. I know that going back over this rough draft will allow me to polish my characters and steer them in the directions they must go to be properly positioned at my ending.

I feel the tidal pull of correcting course on a work in progress. I want to go back to the beginning and start again, but the draft needs to connect beginning to end as a complete, albeit flawed, story.

I am so very close to completing the work, now. And yet, I know this is only the start of a more intense process. The more intense process is also just a step on the road to a fully realized novel. There will be beta reads and editor notes and further rewrites, before I can move on to another book.
